In particular, the “Three Reduction, Three Gains” program which reduced farmers fertilizer, seed and insecticide use by 9%, 10% and 30% respectively. This program was presented in Vietnam’s Golden Rice Award in 2003. This program was recognized by the Alliance of Development Communication and received the 2007 COM+ Award. It also received the commendation certificate from ONEWORLD Broadcast Trust based in the UK in 2008.
